Purpose
Protecting your privacy is important to Pixelfic.
Pixelfic encourages you to read this Privacy Policy, as well as our Terms and Conditions of Use, in order to understand how we collect and process Personal Data in the course of providing the Services and your interaction with the Services.
By using the Services, you consent to the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of your Personal Data for processing as described in, and subject to the limitations set out in, this Privacy Policy.
Note to Residents of the European Union and California: In order to comply with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for our European users, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), this Privacy Policy outlines the legal basis on which we process your Personal Data and provides other information required by the GDPR & CCPA.
Personal Data
Personal Data is any information that would identify a person directly, or indirectly, in combination with data from other sources. For example, a full name, home or work address, phone number, national identification number (SSN, SIN, etc.), email address, banking details, IP address, biometric data, usage data, or any information that may individually identify a person.
Pixelfic may collect Personal Data, including, without limitation, your name, shipping and billing addresses, phone number, email address, payment information, IP address, and device identifiers and/or geolocation information, in the course of its Services, and may use or disclose that Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy.
Pixelfic may also create de-identified or anonymized data from Personal Data by excluding data components (such as your name, email address, etc.) that makes the data able to personally identify you, through obfuscation, or through other means. In addition, Pixelfic may collect and use aggregated, anonymous information to provide data about the Services to advertisers, potential business partners and other unaffiliated entities. As this information does not identify a person, and is therefore not Personal Data, Pixelfic’s use of such aggregated, anonymized and/or de-identified data is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
Consent And Collection Of Personal Data
If you use a Pixelfic website, or conduct a transaction through a Pixelfic Service where Personal Data is essential, your consent is implied to collect and use your Personal Data to facilitate that use or complete that transaction requested or initiated by you only. Pixelfic does not solicit or knowingly collect Personal Data from persons below the age of majority. If we discover we have received Personal Data of a minor, we will delete such information from our systems.
Anonymous Information
When you interact with a Pixelfic Service, similar to most other websites, apps, and online services, certain anonymous technical information about your visit is automatically logged and collected by Pixelfic. This may include information about the type of browser you use, operating system, the date and time you access the Service, the links you accessed while using the Service, and the internet address of the website, if any, which linked directly to the Pixelfic Service. This information is used for system administration and improving the operation and content of Pixelfic’s websites and Services. It is not personally identifiable and is not considered Personal Data subject to this Privacy Policy.

Beyond that point, Personal Data in the possession or control of Pixelfic will be anonymized or securely destroyed.

Webflow Applications
Pixelfic publishes apps on the Webflow Marketplace. This section documents how each Webflow application collects, uses, stores, and protects Webflow user data. Each app is listed below with its own data practices and scope justifications, as required by Webflow’s platform policies.
When you install any Pixelfic Webflow app, you authorize access to your Webflow workspace via Webflow’s official OAuth 2.0 system. Pixelfic only requests the minimum permissions required for each app to function. We do not access data beyond what is listed below for each app.
Connectfic
Connectfic is a Webflow application that connects your Webflow workspace to Shopify. It enables site owners to sync product data, such as product name, inventory, collections, and site metadata, from Shopify to Webflow. Connectfic acts as a bridge: it reads authorized data from your Shopify store via the Shopify API and forwards it to the Webflow collection.
Data accessed from your Webflow workspace
Connectfic accesses the following categories of Webflow data, limited strictly to what is necessary for the integration to function:
- Authorized user identity
- Site metadata
- Form submission data
Form submission data may include personal information submitted by your website visitors (e.g., names, email addresses, phone numbers). This data is transmitted directly to your configured CRM or third-party destination. Pixelfic does not permanently store visitor form submission data; it is processed in memory and forwarded to your destination without being retained on Pixelfic servers.
OAuth scopes requested and why
The following table documents every Webflow OAuth scope Connectfic requests, what feature uses it, and why a narrower scope would not be sufficient:
| Scope | What feature uses it & why it’s needed | Why a narrower scope won’t work |
|---|---|---|
authorized_user:read |
Identifies the authenticated Webflow user during installation and verifies they have permission to connect the workspace before any data sync is initiated. | User identity must be confirmed before any API interaction begins. No narrower scope exists for this purpose. |
sites:read |
Reads the list of Webflow sites in your workspace so you can select which site to connect to your CRM. Site name and domain are displayed in the Connectific configuration UI. | Write access is not requested because Connectfic never modifies site settings. Read-only is the narrowest option and that is what is requested. |
forms:read |
Reads form submission data from your Webflow site to forward to the configured CRM or external tool. This is the core feature of Connectfic — syncing form submissions to external systems. | This scope is the minimum required to access form data. Without it, Connectfic cannot function at all. |
custom_code:read |
Reads any existing custom code configurations on a site to detect conflicts with Connectfic’s integration scripts before installation. | Without this, Connectfic cannot safely verify whether its code would conflict with existing scripts on your pages. Write access is not requested. |
How Connectfic stores and protects data
- OAuth token
Stored in AES-256 encrypted form on Pixelfic servers (AWS, Canada/US). Used only to make authorized API calls on your behalf. - Form submission data
Not stored. Fetched from Webflow, processed in memory, and immediately forwarded to your CRM destination. No copy is retained. - Integration configuration
Your settings (connected site, target CRM, field mappings) are stored to persist your setup between sessions. No visitor’s personal data is included. - Data transmission
All calls to the Webflow API and third-party destinations use HTTPS / TLS 1.2 or higher.
Uninstallation and data removal
When you uninstall Connectfic, Pixelfic immediately revokes the OAuth token and deletes your integration configuration. Any cached site metadata is removed within 30 days. To request immediate deletion, email [email protected] with your Webflow workspace email address.
Before and After Image Slider
Before & After Image Slider is a Webflow application that lets site owners add an interactive drag-to-compare image slider component to their Webflow webpages. After installation, site editors can insert a slider widget onto any page, which allows visitors to drag a handle left and right to compare two images side by side (e.g., a “before” and “after” photo).
This is a purely client-side rendering feature. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data from you or your site’s visitors.
Data accessed from your Webflow workspace
Before & After Image Slider accesses a minimal set of Webflow data, limited to what is strictly necessary to install and render the slider component on your site:
- Site metadata (name, domain, ID)
- Custom code configurations (read-only)
No visitor data is collected. The slider widget runs entirely in the browser. No analytics, tracking scripts, or personally identifiable information about your site’s visitors are sent to Pixelfic at any time.
OAuth scopes requested and why
Before & After Image Slider requests only the scopes strictly necessary to install the widget. It does not request write access to site content, CMS data, forms, or member data.
| Scope | What feature uses it & why it’s needed | Why a narrower scope won’t work |
|---|---|---|
authorized_user:read |
Verifies the identity of the authenticated Webflow user during installation to confirm valid access before any site interaction occurs. | Authorization must be confirmed before the app can safely interact with any site resource. No narrower alternative exists. |
sites:read |
Reads your workspace’s site list so you can select which site to install the slider on. Only site name and ID are read — no content is accessed. | The user must pick a site; this requires listing available sites. Write access is not requested and not needed. |
custom_code:read |
Reads existing custom code on the target site pages to check for conflicts with the slider script before installation, ensuring the widget doesn’t break existing page functionality. | Without reading existing custom code, the app cannot safely determine whether its script would conflict with code already on the page. Write access is not requested. |
How Before & After Image Slider stores and protects data
- OAuth token
Stored in AES-256-encrypted form on Pixelfic servers. Used only during installation and any re-configurations you initiate. - Visitor data
None collected. The slider renders entirely in the visitor’s browser. No interaction data is sent to Pixelfic. -
- Data transmission
All API calls use HTTPS / TLS 1.2 or higher. No data leaves Pixelfic servers except for going back to Webflow.
- Data transmission
-
- Image data
Images are served directly from your Webflow hosting. Pixelfic does not host, proxy, or store any images.
- Image data
Uninstallation and data removal
Uninstalling Before & After Image Slider revokes the OAuth token immediately and removes the slider script from your site. Any cached site metadata held by Pixelfic is deleted within 30 days. To request immediate deletion, email [email protected]

As such, Pixelfic cannot guarantee perfect security, integrity, or confidentiality of Personal Data.
Pixelfic maintains a security incident response protocol to be put in place in the event that the security of your Personal Data in the possession or control of Pixelfic is compromised. In the event of a data breach or security incident involving the Services, Pixelfic will apply this protocol to enable Pixelfic to effectively and efficiently respond to, and contain, the breach or incident. Pixelfic may also seek to notify you in such an event. If notification is appropriate or required, Pixelfic may notify you by email, messaging to your device, or other reasonable means.
Disclosure Of Personal Data
Pixelfic does not provide Personal Data to unaffiliated third parties for their use in marketing directly to you. We may use unaffiliated companies, or trusted third party service providers, to help maintain and operate our Services for reasons related to our business operations and to better serve you, and those companies may receive your Personal Data for that purpose. For example, Pixelfic may use third party payment processor services in connection with the Services and its websites, and the payment information that you provide to Pixelfic may be disclosed to and used by these payment processors for the purposes of completing and executing transactions requested or initiated by you. When Pixelfic shares Personal Data with third-party services that support our delivery of the Services, we require that they use your Personal Data only for the purposes we’ve authorized, and that they protect your Personal Data to at least the same standards used by Pixelfic.
As part of agreements with merchants who have installed Pixelfic Apps and the execution of transactions on behalf of merchants that make use of Pixelfic Apps in connection with their online stores, we may disclose Personal Data which has been collected by us that is specific to that merchant’s store and your transactions in connection therewith.
Pixelfic may also disclose Personal Data about you in connection with legal requirements, such as in response to an authorized subpoena, governmental request or investigation, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law (including, without limitation, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect Pixelfic’s legal rights, property, or the safety of Pixelfic, its employees, users or others).
Finally, as Pixelfic’s business develops, it may sell or buy corporate assets, and in such transactions Personal Data may be one of the transferred business assets. If Pixelfic, its internet businesses, or substantially all of its shares or assets, is acquired or an acquisition is contemplated, Personal Data may be one of the assets assessed or transferred in connection with that transaction.
If you believe your Personal Data has been disclosed other than as described in this Privacy Policy, please contact Pixelfic via the Contact & Questions area at the bottom of this Privacy Policy.

The data protection and privacy laws in these locations may offer a different level of protection than in your country/region, however, as noted earlier in this Privacy Policy, Pixelfic takes steps, including through contracts, intended to ensure that the Personal Data it collects continues to be protected wherever it is located in a manner consistent with the standards of protection required under applicable law.
Where Personal Data is transferred from the European Economic Area to a country that has not received an adequacy decision by the European Commission, Pixelfic relies on appropriate safeguards, such as for example the European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses and EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks, to transfer the Personal Data.
